Karuna
Karuna is a non invasive healing system, like the Reiki healing system it is highly effective and natural.
Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism, Buddhism and Zen.
It is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as "compassionate action". When individuals experience enlightenment they report that all beings are known as one. As we help others and aid them in their healing process, all beings benefit because of the oneness of all beings, it is understood that Karuna is not only extended to others out of love but also because it is an entirely logical thing to do, in the same way that you would want to heal your own wounds you would also want the wounds of others to heal.
Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings who are working to end suffering on Earth.
As you develope Karuna in yourself, not only are you helping others but you also become more receptive to the Karuna that is being sent by enlightened beings, thus your healing is quickened.
Karuna Reiki energy is different than Usui Reiki. in fact most people find it more powerful. It has a more definate feeling to it and works on all the energy bodies at the same time.
Reiki
Reiki is a simple and highly effective natural healing system involving laying on of hands.
Reiki is pronounced Ray-Key and its general meaning is "Universal life force energy", broken down the words Rei and Ki are believed to originate from the words Rauk Kei in the Japanese language Kanji, Raku is the vertical energy flow and Ki is the horizontal flow through the body.
The Reiki healer becomes simply a channel for the flow of Reiki healing energy and does not use his or her own energy. Instead of draining the healer, he or she also receives the healing energy in the process of treating others.
Reiki can be used in all situations and can do no harm. It can be used in conjunction with conventional and medical treatment.
Reiki energy helps to balance the body's own system and remove blockages thus helping the client to heal him or herself. It compliments and greatly enhances all other methods of healing.
Reiki has become more accessable now than it used to be and has since its rediscovery spread throughout the world.
Reiki is primarily a tool for spiritual development and secondly it is a simple and highly effetive healing system that can be learned, accessed and used by all.
